Salary: Up to $26/hour + overtime, with potential flexibility based on experience

Terrific Virtual Executive Assistant ("VEA") position for a new national project within a large foundation. This is a new role that will be part of a virtual team. The VEA will support the Executive team of this new initiative and join at a critical time in their growth. Typical responsibilities for this position will include calendar management, coordinating scheduling across multiple stakeholders, booking travel arrangements, partnering with colleagues to confirm that program priorities are met, and ensuring that the Director is properly prepared for all events, panels, and other public engagements. This position will also be responsible for directly interfacing with various internal and external constituent groups, as needed. Ideal candidates will be highly organized, a self-starter, have exceptional relationship building skills, and possess an entrepreneurial mindset. Candidates should have approximately 5+ years of related experience, including time in a virtual environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask are essential for this role. This is a remote position that can be performed anywhere in the U.S. Base salary for this position is up to $26/hour + overtime, with potential flexibility based on experience.


  • Manage the Executive team's calendars, including booking appointments and making adjustments based on priorities
  • Book team travel arrangements, as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure program priorities are being met
  • Interface with various internal and external constituents at all levels (i.e., funders, Executives, etc...) and address all inquiries in a timely manner
  • Assist with the creation of marketing and communications materials, as needed
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel as needed to attend events


  • Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience, including time within a virtual environment; nonprofit experience a plus
  • Must have experience supporting remote and dispersed teams
  • High school diploma required
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and interact with Executive-level constituents
  • Passionate about making an impact
  • Technically savvy
  • Experience with database management; experience with Airtable a plus
